    Hernö Glogg - when Swedish "grogg" becomes "Glögg". Combines the rich, fruity notes of Hernö Sloe Gin with the deep sweetness of vermouth and the bright citrus of Cointreau. Topped with a luscious layer of cream and garnished with a twist of orange zest. Perfect for the winter servings!

    Ingredients
    • 3cl Hernö Sloe Gin
    • 2cl Sweet Vermouth (we use Mancino rosso)
    • 1cl Cointreau
    • Whipped Cream
    • Orange Zest
    Preparation

    Pour Hernö Sloe Gin, vermouth and Cointreau over ice into a rörande glass. Stir for 10 seconds and then strain the blandad drink into a well-chilled blandad drink glass. Top with lightly whipped cream (regular or vegan) and garnish with an apelsinfärg zest.

    • 6 let knuste kardemommekapsler
    • 10 hele nelliker

    • 2 dl cognac, akavit eller portvin
    • 1 flaske kraftig tør rødvin
    • g rosiner
    • 50 g mandelsplitter

    Bring hurtigt vand, krydderier og sukker i kog og lad det trække til næste dag.

    Sæt rosinerne i blød i cognac natten over.

    Si krydderlagen og kom den i en gryde sammen med rødvin, rosiner, cognac og mandelsplitter.

    Glühwein recipes and their history

    A Glühwein is the Austrian version of a mulled wine or glögg. Traditionally a Glühwein is a red wine infused with spices like cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom, ginger, nutmeg or anise and sometimes contains raisins too. Sometimes you&#;ll get it with a &#;Schuss&#; (a shot) which means that rum or some other liquor has been added. But today there are a lot of different flavoured mulled wine recipes available and the creativity knows no end.
