Norran (tidigare Norra Västerbotten) är en svensk frisinnatliberaldagstidning grundad med utgivningsort Skellefteå. Den utkommer alla dagar utom söndagar. TS-upplagan var 19&#;
Fram till var tidningens namn Norra Västerbotten. I samband med hundraårsjubileet ändrades namnet till Norran efter vad som tidigare varit dess informella namn.
Tidningen har sitt huvudsakliga nyhetsområde i Skellefteå, Malå, Norsjö, Arvidsjaurs och Arjeplogs kommuner samt Nysätra socken i Robertsfors kommun. Bevakningen av Arvidsjaur och Arjeplog sker i samarbete med Piteå-Tidningen.
De första provnumren av Norran utkom i december och det första ordinarie numret kom ut den 1 januari Tidningen Norran ägdes fram till till 99,8 procent av Stiftelsen Skelleftepress.[1] Tidningen ägdes under några år på talet till 89,8 procent av Stiftelsen Skelleftepress och till 10 procent av Stiftelsen VK-press. Samarbetet med Västerbottens-Kuriren avbröts dock och tidningen blev återigen helägd av sin ägarstiftelse.
I december såldes Norrans medierörelse och bildade tillsammans med Norrbottens Media (Norrländska Socialdemokraten och Norrbottens-Kuriren) och Piteå-Tidningen det nya medi

In the autumn of , Northvolt announced that it had chosen Skellefteå for its first large battery factory.
Since then, a number of larger projects have been added to the list, including in Gothenburg, Gdansk, German Heide, and Montréal.
In , Northvolt was hit bygd a series of setbacks, incurred a loss of billions and was also shaken bygd several fatal accidents at the factory in Skellefteå.
This year, the problems have escalated with delivery problems, delays, and a heavily strained economy.
Some key dates:
16 January: Northvolt is granted a so-called green loan of over 50 billion kronor from, among others, 24 business banks.
6 March: After a period marked by delivery problems from the factory in Skellefteå, the tjänsteman groundbreaking ceremony takes place for the factory in Torslanda, a joint planerat arbete with Volvo Cars. According to Northvolt's CEO Peter Carlsson, the situation has begun to improve slightly.

Norran
Norran (previously named Norra Västerbotten)[1] is a Swedish languageliberalnewspaper published in Skellefteå, Sweden.
History and profile
[edit]Norran was founded by a group of liberal newspaper enthusiasts led by Anton Wikström from Jörn in [2] The first official edition was published 1 January The paper is owned by the foundationSkelleftepress. It is published in Berliner format[3] in Skellefteå, and chiefly distributed in the northern parts of Västerbotten. The stated position of the editorial is liberal.
Most of the newspaper's local articles are written in Skellefteå, but it also has local editors in Arjeplog, Arvidsjaur, Malå and Norsjö.
It has been published on the Internet since February and the main news service is freely available.
In correlation with the newspaper's year-anniversary, the staff announced on 4 January that its name would be changed into Norran, a name which has been used by its readers for decades.[4] The official web site's URL was already [4]
